The challenge is…….(and no it is not all about the lock down)

Challenging weeks can throw us off track. They can make us question what we do and who we are. That’s the negative side.

On the positive side they are great for enabling us to (and to use the words of a very wise man – Dr Wayne Dyer), “Change the way we look at things, so the things we look at change.” I love these words.

Challenges that throw us off track or even stop us in our track are there to serve us, not disable us. We meet with them as a result of our thoughts and emotions, especially those that need some attention and perhaps need to change. We co-create the challenges we are presented with.

When we look at what we are presented with, I mean really look and begin to change the way we look at it, we can begin to see those challenges change. Then we are in a better position to take the action required to create the change required.

When faced with a challenge I ask: “What is the lesson hiding within or behind this challenge? How have I created or contributed to this challenge? If I could have done things differently in order to avoid a challenge like this, what would I have done? What is it I am meant to learn? What is the message here?”

The challenges we create and face ourselves with, are there for us to grow and to enrich our lives………..even if it doesn’t seem that way at the time!

I have learned that we create, we can handle.

All of humanity has contributed to what we are facing now in some way shape or form.

What are you doing during this world wide pandemic to understand the huge message we are presented with?

What is it you are learning about you?
About humans as a collective?
The world at large?

What are you doing to implement these teachings, to enrich your life?

Or are you struggling right now and could do with a listening ear?
What is it you are struggling with exactly?

Would you like to talk about it, this, life, your life?

Would like a chat to someone?

Whilst we spend this time in isolation it is also time for connection….or even re-connection.

Reach out…….

If nothing else, could it be that just as this virus does not discriminate, it is teaching us not to too?

Could it be another lesson to learn or re-learn, that is one of compassion for ourselves and each other?

After all we are all connected and not just via the internet………

Or is that right now we are asked to look at what we do have in our lives and to express gratitude?

Gratitude for the food that we do have, and the realisation that we do need as much as we have been led to believe we need. Nor do we need the sugary, fatty crap we are bombarded with on a daily basis to enable us to allegedly ‘feel good’…….and does it really? I mean really?

What can you express gratitude for right now? In this moment?

I could go on……

However for now, during this challenging yet adaptive time, I ask you,
“What can look at in your life differently, so how you see it changes?”

The challenge is are you able to change the way YOU look at things, so the things you look at change?

Let me know if you would like some help with that…..
